Everyone, in some period of time in your daily course, can change. Inside the novel F 451, by Ray Bradbury, the character Man Montag begins to change little by little like tiny droplets slowly completing a glass until it terme conseille. Montag complies with various people who slowly set out to change him, such as Clarisse, a distinct seventeen-year-old girl, an un-named woman, who decides to immolate herself, and Faber, an old professor. By meeting these people, Montag's curiosity increases and his dedication as well.

Once Montag meets Clarisse, his way of thinking is usually shifted via " how" to " why, " and his attention starts to increase. When Clarisse asks him if he is happy, he starts to say to himself, " Of course I am just happy. Exactly what does she think? I'm not? " (10). Although Montag thinks he could be happy, he's still not sure. Montag is merely living the way in which society desires him to, but when this individual actually starts to think about it, he realizes he could be not articles by the way he can living. One other example is when Clarisse is tasting the rainfall, " And after that, very slowly and gradually, as he went, he tilted his head back in the rainwater, for just moments, and opened his oral cavity... " (24). Even though Montag thinks Clarisse is odd, he continue to tries sampling the rainfall himself. This illustrates that Montag is definitely starting to turn into curious about attempting new things. Nevertheless Clarisse isn't very the only one that has a big influence on Montag, The woman with the ebooks as well.

If the woman immolates herself, Montag's curiosity boosts and demands himself precisely what is in a book that is so important for the girl to choose to perish along with her books. When ever Montag maintains pulling in the lady to get out of the home, " the lady replied silently, 'I need to stay here'" (39).
