This paper tries to talk about the following points: philosophy takes on several positive roles in Africa. In some of the functions philosophy plays a similar role in Africa as it does consist of regions of the world. For instance, beliefs helps us to grasp the underlying guidelines of a few fundamental queries the knowledge which would bring about our development as individuals. On the other hand, philosophy could also addresses our politics and social problems by simply pointing all of us the way to a great enlightened dialogue methods such as polylogue and in addition by creating such critical-minded and strong-spirited individuals who verify unjust activities of Photography equipment leaders in such a manner it can compel them to are a symbol of the overall progress the Photography equipment people.

Introduction

Beliefs is literally thought as the love of wisdom and has been providing as an instrument in the make an effort to satiate male's natural fascination of certain core universal problems. Even though philosophy has not yet properly secured the popularity, and it will not seem more than likely that she will, of overcoming all the complications and questions that stand on her method of attaining real truth and wisdom, she has certainly managed to get as much encomiums as you'll be able for this kind of abstract areas to receive of expediting the progress and growth of the powers of reasoning and comprehension of human beings. Through this very compliment of beliefs is to be detected a certain tendency of undermining and understating the large value of philosophy which could transcend the limits, rather the curb offer it by its own adherents.

Through this humble job, I claim to disclose, even though to a certain extent, the usually thrown away but evenly significant power of beliefs with a view not to only adding on its existing popularity but as well of using the misguided, who've been deluded in to thinking that the role of philosophy is restricted to mere cultivation in the mind which will for them is usually clearly not a primary concern, to the throng of their ardent votaries.

Accordingly, I purport to show the role of philosophy and philosophers too in ameliorating the deplorable conditions which will we Africans have been required to find yourself in. In pursuit of this goal I shall endeavor to check out the role that philosophy may play in the Africa context by two distinct but inextricably related perspectives. The to begin these is the fact which we all as people of the human species present to peoples of other parts which I wish to call the Universal Position of viewpoint i. at the. the benefit that each human being ipso facto may generate out of your enduring knowledge of beliefs. The second, one of the most important for this purpose, is that use of philosophy which is peculiar to Africans, more so because it attempts to deal with the peculiarities, rather the regular predicaments of Africans since Africans. This kind of I shall try to perform by plainly stating the distinctive features, limited to the matter at hand, with the African people without tremendously exaggerating these people lest the first electricity of viewpoint may be eroded. This last mentioned role of philosophy I want to term the Specific/Distinctively African Position of Philosophy/these nomenclatures do not have any ties with any kind of internationally identified persons or institutions, they are given only on the basis of the meanings the terms signify/.

Moreover, in our inquiry of the role that might be played by philosophy, we need to pay pay attention to to the hitting problems of present Africa and also to the post colonial time Africa in so far as it ongoing to bother the...
